Dr. Howard Brooks

For Dr. Howard, dentistry wasn’t so much a career choice, but a destiny. His father, Dr. Barry Brooks, started Brooks Dental back in 1959, so he got to see first-hand how dentistry can change people’s lives by improving their health and appearance at the same time. Dr. Barry was thrilled when he heard that Dr. Howard wanted to enroll in dental school. He was always good with his hands and frequently put together intricate models as a child, so Dr. Barry knew he had the potential to do great things as a dentist.

Dr. Howard attended the prestigious Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1987. Over the decades, he has continually worked to stay up to date on the latest findings and technology within the field, and he’s completed advanced training focused on subjects such as dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry, and much more.

Dr. Stephanie Brooks

Growing up with her father, Dr. Howard, Dr. Stephanie also found herself drawn to dentistry, and she’s thrilled to be the third-generation dentist in the family. She also obtained her dental degree from Boston University (graduating summa cum laude), and while there, she was inducted into the National Dental Honors Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a distinction reserved for only the most accomplished students. Today, she is an active member of the International Dental Implant Association, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Dr. Julianne D. Bruno

Rounding out our team, Dr. Julianne D. Bruno is a Florida native who’s now proud to call our dental practice near Revere her home. As a board-certified orthodontist, she’s able to provide treatments that can straighten crooked, crowded, and gapped teeth as well as correct misaligned bites. Here at Brooks Dental, she mostly uses Invisalign because it’s able to deliver fantastic results for adults and children without someone having to wear noticeable metal brackets and wires.

Dr. Andrea Chung Shah

Dr. Andrea Shah is a graduate of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her endodontic residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Before her career in dentistry, Dr. Shah was a computer engineer at Intel Corporation in California.

During her time at Harvard, Dr. Shah received the Student Achievement Award in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontics and the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award. In addition, she received a stipend from the Paul Dudley White Traveling Fellowship from Harvard Medical School to conduct research in South Africa. Dr. Shah has also served as a reviewer for the Academy of General Dentistry and has been published in several academic journals. Dr. Shah is an affiliate of several local, state, and national dental organizations. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three young children. Together, they enjoy watching the sunrise, traveling, and skiing.
