Our team at Brooks Dental hopes you and your loved ones are doing well! Your well-being matters to us, and we’re proud to play a role in helping you stay in optimal health.

New Team Member

We are happy to welcome Lauren Cullinane to our team. As a dental assistant, she brings 20 years of experience with all kinds of patients, including children and those with special needs. In her travels, she has learned Farsi and can cook authentic Persian food. We’re excited to have her onboard!

Health Screenings

Did you know that we do more than just check for oral health issues? During your routine preventive appointments, we take the time to conduct a couple of quick health screenings too.

In addition to looking for tooth decay and gum disease, we look for potential signs of oral cancer, which kills on average one American every hour every day. When found and treated early, this form of cancer has a survival rate of 90 percent! We perform this screening every six months in hopes of catching this disease and saving the lives of those affected.

During your appointment with Brooks Dental, you’ll also be screened for sleep apnea, a condition that disrupts breathing. Our dental office screens for this condition because it is often the result of facial tissues blocking the airway. Without treatment, sleep apnea can lead to fatigue, inability to focus or remember, high blood pressure, or even a cardiovascular event. By addressing sleep apnea with a simple oral appliance, you can improve your quality of sleep and your overall health.

We strive to do our part in keeping you and your smile healthy, but we can’t help you if you’re not coming in to our office for your health and wellness checkups regularly. We invite to start this healthy habit so that you can smile for many more years to come.
